I created Princess Netta for my girls—and yours. As a mom of four beautiful brown girls, I was tired of pajamas and characters that didn’t look like my daughters.

When my daughter begged for a blonde wig in a store to “be a princess,” I knew I had to change how she saw princesses. She was already a princess—with her afro puffs and brown skin. That’s how Princess Netta was born, so every little Black girl can see herself as royalty.

When my daughters first saw our products, they shouted, “It’s me!” over and over. That’s the heart of Princess Netta: ensuring every Black girl feels seen, celebrated, and empowered. I want children to know they are worthy of love, and I stayed true to my mission of celebrating Black girls unapologetically.

Balancing being a mom of four and running Princess Netta takes a lot of late nights and sacrifices, but I’m committed to both my family and this dream. Together, we’re redefining what a princess looks like—ensuring every little girl knows she is royalty.
